Lord Thompson Manor is an enchanting wedding venue located in Northern Connecticut. The upscale estate features an all-inclusive wedding experience, including photography and cinematography by The Harris Company.
Every year, Lord Thompson Manor hosts almost 300 guests over the span of two winter weekends. Couples, Parents, Maids of Honor & Best Men are invited to join in this exclusive experience where they enjoy complimentary spirits, hand passed – hors d’oeuvre, a full 5 course sampling menu, and a full table setup with inspiration for their reception and floral decor.
Jackie, Andrew, Ted, Danielle, Kate, & the full staff at Lord Thompson welcome their couples (and other wedding professionals!) in with open arms. The cozy fire places, settled in every room of the manor, create for warm, inviting ambiance.
The interior walls with exposed brick, running vines, and old-world charm make you feel like you’re enjoying a summer evening, even in the dead of New England winters.
The estate boasts accommodations for your entire wedding party & close family. The Cottage House, fresh and nautical, will make you feel like your spending the weekend in Newport with your girls (the perfect getting ready spot!) while the Manor hosts the gentlemen in rooms design with mahogany & dark leather.
