Boston Engagement Photography | Rebecca & Michael Seaport Engagement Session

June 6, 2014

Rebecca and Mike are super fun and goofy, which naturally made their session a blast.  They got engaged in the Seaport area in Boston after working a tradeshow together at the World Trade Center.   They had been together for a while and decided to pick out the engagement ring together.     Even after the ring had arrived, Mike INSISTED on a formal proposal until Rebecca could wear it.  She thought for sure there was no way he’d be able to surprise her, but he pulled out all the stops and put together a super cute proposal including picking out her outfit and throwing her completely off guard.   So to retell the beautiful story, we brought them back to the seaport for their engagement photos:

Mike was really nervous about having his picture taken so they went for a few drinks before hand…

They lighting along the water was really beautiful.

This is the infamous red dress.  Mike saw Rebecca wear it once and knew immediately he wanted to propose to her when she was wearing it again. He HID the dress on her until he was ready to pop the question.  Then he allowed her to bring it back out again for the engagement photos 😉

They goofed around the entire session, and they things got serious up on the bridge when I asked them to dance!

We took them all over town and then asked them to run in traffic… 😉

But it was totally worth it:
