Boston Wedding Photographer | Amie & Armen Wedding at the First Armenian Church and Boston Seaport Hotel

August 8, 2014

When I say that Amie didn’t forget a single detail, what I mean is:  She. did not. forget. A. Single. Detail.  Not only did she think of everything, but it all came together so beautifully.  Basically, she should be an event designer.  It was perfect.    I should have known that the wedding would be extra fabulous, after our engagement session together, check it out here.  Our day started with a roller coaster of tears and laughter at the grooms home:

The Armenian songs and chants for the traditional getting ready ceremony was really cool and a ton of fun!  Everyone got really into it and started our day off with a bang.

When Armen read his letter from Amie, he immediately teared up.  Armen’s father passed away in 2012 and Amie surprised him with a lapel pin with a picture of his father and his father’s signature on the back.  It was so special, I started crying just watching him open it.

Then on to the ladies!   The bouquets were absolutely stunning, made with perfection by ILA Flowers Design Studio.  Each of the bridesmaids was adorned with the broaches from the grandmother of the bride.

Dear Vera Wang, can I take you home with me?  Ever bride deserves a dress this stunning.

The girls wore blue chiffon gowns with a variety of gold heels.

Natalie was so sweet to work with, and Amie’s hair looked gorgeous.

Another cute tradition, each of the bridesmaids wrote their names on the bottom of Amie’s shoe.  The name that rubs off at the end of the night is the next to get married!

The bridesmaids had convertible gowns so they each wore theirs differently- another great way to add personalization to your wedding party!

Absolutely perfect.

The ceremony was at the First Armenian Church in Belmont.

A really nice memorial for Armen’s Dad.

Super fun bridal party!

The ballroom at the Seaport Hotel is flooded with natural light, it makes the whole venue look amazing.  Especially when your centerpieces are flower domes with hanging crystals!
