Bostons Best Bakers- These weddings took the cake!

January 26, 2015

We see a LOT of wedding cakes.  This year was the year of beauty, extravagance, and elegance, and these cakes certainly did not disappoint.  We cant speak to the TASTE of all these cakes as we did not get to sample every one (boo hoo, poor baby!)  but they were certainly all works of art.  Check ‘em out!!

1. Jillian + Dan, Konditor Meister

The simple elegance of their all-while cake matched perfectly with their nautical theme and timeless gown.

2. Heather + Mike, Party Favors Brookline

The detail on this cake was insane!

3. Barb + Tom, Pecorino

This cake was actually a cheese cake.  No really, a CHEESE cake.  Layers of different types of cheese wheels.  Unique?  I’d say so!  Beautiful!  Perfectly.

4. Josh + Bryan, Montilio’s Bakery

Designed to look exactly like them, their 3D cake topper certainly drew attention from the crowd!

5. Alexandra + Stephen, Frederick’s Pastries

Each layer added another element of elegance.

6. Valerie + Adam, Dortoni Bakery

This cake was was perfectly decorated, beautiful details but not too over the top.

Jillian and Dan’s cake was not only beautifu in its simplicity, but was very good to eat. I love it when a cake is not overlysweet, but stands alone with pure taste. I believe it was two different flavors for guests to make a choice as well. Go Jill and Dan with the help of Maid of Honor Michelle in choosing this confection and really enjoying the cake tasting experience too!
