Hannah and Dan said “I do” in a traditional church ceremony on a beautiful spring day. We can not say enough about how much we adored this family. We meet a lot of families while documenting weddings, and while they all have their own set of amazing qualities- this family was the type of family you wish you belonged to! The bonds between the cousins was more like a brotherhood and sisterhood. You immediately felt the warmth and love when you were surrounded by this family. Hearts were heavy as Dan saw Hannah walking down the aisle for the first time by her father & mother. The love in his eyes and hers, was, undeniable. Hannah is the epitome of a classic and timeless bride. She looked absolutely elegant in a gorgeous, white, off the shoulder gown with beaded embellishments. Likewise for Dan, in white and black tux.
Hannah & Dad decided to move the wedding up last minute, in hopes that her dad, who had fallen terminally ill, could be there to celebrate with them. In their toast to their friends and family they mentioned that despite being only a few weeks away when the new date was announced nearly everyone on the guest list had made arrangements to be there. Vacations were cancelled, new flights were rebooked, their adoring family showed up in a big way that day.
They kicked the party up a notch with a lively reception at the luxurious Franklin Plaza Ballroom located in Upstate, NY. One of the most memorable moments for Hannah and Dan was walking out on to the dance floor to their song surrounded by all of their loved ones. These two had an epic dance floor! While we can thank Conway Entertainment for bringing the fun energy, Hannah and Dan’s friends and family like to LET LOOSE! The dance floor was packed! There was a limbo game, a breakdance challenge, and even Uncle Bob pulled out a pants-ripping-worthy guitar move!
