Last year we had the great idea of attempting a multi-city trip to Europe with 14 of us. It sounds crazy but when it comes to travel and adventure all our families are on the same page. We eat and hike our way through cities. Our only concern was getting that many people out the door every morning. Thankfully it all worked out and it was an unbelievably beautiful 10 day trip to Rome, Chamonix and Paris. I won’t bore you with too many details and just say that each of these cities have a lot to offer and are worth a vacation by themselves.
-Rome was HOT in august but when you pair the incredible history with the Italian cuisine and the walkability of the city it’s hard to beat. Highlights:
-Colosseum
-Trevi Fountain
-Vatican Museums
-Walking the streets at night
-Every restaurant we ate at
-Chamonix from a landscape and views standpoint was spectacular. The downtown area is a beautiful little ski town and very walkable. Highlights:
-Aiguille du Midi lift
-Hiking down from Aiguille Du Midi
-Tried to hike to Lac Blanc but the rain and cold temps stopped us from making it all the way
-Exploring the downtown area
