After a long and fun night at a housewarming party on the Upper East Side, the girls and Morgan ventured around the corner to a local spot to continue the festivities and most importantly… dance! After quickly settling into a spot at the bar, she turned to her left and was instantly greeted by a man {Eric} asking what she was drinking… She responded “water.” He seemed nice, but she was not there to meet anyone. She tried to shake him, but nothing worked. She even told him she’d set him up with her sister (now Maid of Honor, Katie)…

He seemingly only grew more interested. His determination was impressive. The night went on, and Eric stuck by her side, he literally did not budge. She could see how much his friends loved him as one of his friends kept checking in. He even went as far as bringing a 7ft tall bouncer over to ask if she was “bothering” Eric. His importance to his friends was confirmed… and it was really sweet! The night went on and so did Eric’s efforts. After a few gentlemanly gestures, she decided to exchange numbers with him. so “he could take me out to dinner” the next day.

That night and into the next day, Eric texted multiple times to check-in that she got home safely and to confirm their dinner plans.

The Beginning – April 24, 2016 – How He Tells it…

Eric had been out drinking and watching hockey all day (thanks to his buddy) and was getting ready to head home when Morgan walked into Manny’s. And girls like Morgan do NOT walk into Manny’s he claims. He knew he had to talk to her. She told him she worked at the Willy Wonka Club on the West Side. He found this very interesting. She had a great laugh and he couldn’t let her leave without securing their next date… Sound familiar? Sure enough, his tactics worked and he was in for a Sunday Funday dinner.

When he arrived at dinner the next day, he quickly realized that he did very well. She was even more beautiful than he remembers. He pulled himself together and walked up to Morgan…  From their unexpected beginnings to their wedding, they are so excited for this new journey as a married couple!
