Part of my daily routine has been writing down 5 things I’m grateful for each morning. This “attitude of gratitude” has shifted the way I approach each day. When you look for blessings around you, you find them. SO in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we thought we’d share some of the things we are MOST grateful for on our blog 😊

Our Growing Team. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support network that we have lifting us up every single day. Both in-studio, and remotely around the world, we rely on individuals and companies to ensure we are bringing the best possible experience to our clients. We’ve learned a lot about being leaders, time management, practicing positivity, and dreaming BIG all because of our amazing team.

Another Studio! In April of this year, we opened our second studio space downtown, Studio H., which became the home to our portrait brand, Studio H. as well as a hosting space for workshops for photographers and business owners.

JULIE! Julie is our Financial Planner and while it was insanely difficult, she coached us to pay off over $80,000 in debt THIS YEAR as we started our debt free journey & retirement plan. Next up, finish paying off our mortgage & funding that beach house getaway 😊 For anyone looking to get out from under debt, or feel more in control of where your money is going, we highly recommend the Ramsey organization (especially Chris Hogan) and their coaches. This experience was so enlightening and lief changing that we now offer financial coaching to our team members as well.

EPIC Vacations. This year we traveled to Costa Rica, Colorado, IRELAND, California, Arizona, Charleston, Savannah, and heading BACK to Costa Rica for Christmas. We make a lot of other sacrifices in order to travel like this with our family, but it’s our thing, its where we choose to put our money, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. These experiences as a family are absolutely priceless.

EACH OTHER. This year has been a WHIRLWIND, haha but I feel like we say that EVERY year. Together, we can conquer and achieve anything. We truly are the perfect complement to one another.

New Family Albums! We were a few years behind so this year, we got caught up and printed our 2017 & 2018 Family Albums. We are lucky enough to be super close with our families, we do a lot together, and as a result we have a lot of wild memories! There is truly nothing better than reliving your best family memories in print.

Our Clients. Of course, we wouldn’t have a business without our clients, but more than that, we are thankful for your stories. We are thankful to have known you, we are thankful for your families, we are thankful for the smiles you’ve given us, and the crazy moments we will never forget. Every ceremony is a renewal to our marriage, every dance is a reminder to let loose. We’ve had the opportunity to document families that reminded us of just how fragile life is, when even amidst tragedy, your love, joy, and closeness to each other was paramount. We get to do something we absolutely love, because of you. You have made dreams come true, for that we are so thankful.
