When you think of fairytale weddings, this one tops the charts. This wedding had it all. It had a gothic, classic feel, full of elegant details like a gorgeous stone staircase that was to die for! Kate’s gown was simply out of a storybook! She literally looked like a royal princess. This wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful!
The details were perfected down to the stationary by Mara Weiner of Allure Invitations. The girls were prepped and pampered to flawless beauty by Kristen Kuhlilian and Amanda DeGouff.Kate’s mom looked BEAUTIFUL!! I was in love with her dress, actually I think everyone was! Kate and TJ dedicated so much thanks and love throughout the entire day to this amazing woman.Kate’s Lazaro dress certainly was the highlight of the day. This dress had it all! Kate’s mom helped her into her dress, and then this moment happened. One of my favorite bride and mother of the bride images. Even these gorgeous bouquets by Jill Porter of Petal Pushers made this a royal affair.
TJ kept the royal movement going bringing his style and charm. When we asked TJ what he was going to write for his vows, he wasn’t sure at all, but once that pen and paper got into his hand, it came to him. He made it look easy. The guys were set and looking amazing! This chandelier was exquisite on its own, but then the sun made it come to life, making the ceremony truly magical. The moment that Kate came into his view, TJ, a self-proclaimed crier, couldn’t hold back – and who could blame him at the sight of Kate! The loss of Kate father brought tears to many eyes that day, but Kate’s brother proudly took his place by her side as they walked down the aisle. An emotional hug between TJ and Kate’s brother. One of my favorite images from this wedding….It’s so incredible to capture something as simple as a look that holds so much emotion and love. TJ’s eyes gave him away the entire day. This wedding was a fairytale and he was an open book. I don’t think there was any denying how much love he has for Kate. And to make it truly a modern-day fairytale, a quick selfie before their first kiss as a married couple! Ah…how incredible! The reception was planned to perfection by Kate and Liz Quill of Elegant Aura Events. It was definitely a royal affair with long tables covered in a deep blue, accented with red and white flowers from Jill Porter of Petal Pushers.Look at the detail of these plates! Two emotional speeches were given by the Maid of Honor and Best Man. The cake, by Cakes to Remember, was a work of art, keeping the same feel as Kate’s dress.
And when it came time for the cake, Kate gave TJ the “don’t you dare” look and after a bit of hesitation….they were both sweet as could be about it. 🙂 Onto their private first dance together, which just sealed in all of the romance of the day. Then the doors opened for the guests to watch and then, Kate surprised TJ with a flash mob! This set the dance floor off to a lively start and EVERYone was showing off their moves! I don’t think I’ve seen better dancers at a wedding yet!! Kate’s brother gave an incredible speech that was truly moving. This wedding certainly assured me that fairytales do in fact come true, and we couldn’t be more excited for Kate & TJ!
