Anniversary wishes to this incredible couple. See their wedding day below:
The story behind the Bruun family is pretty special. We discovered that while filming their engagement/ family session, right after the birth of Jacobi, their little man. To them, this joyous occasion wasn’t just about 2 people, it was about the joining of a family. Not just Ana, Jared, and their 2 kids- but multiple extended families and friends from all walks. The entire wedding was so special and personal, I actually started crying at multiple points during the day. Congratulations to the new Bruun family, you guys are amazing. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed documenting your day!
I’ll never forget this wedding. Not only because I’m a sucker for weddings with a personal touch, but because at about 8pm right as everyone starting doing the merengue, my water broke. Baby wasn’t scheduled to arrive for another 2 1/2 weeks so it was completely unexpected but I wanted to make sure I was still able to give Ana & Jared all they deserved and more- without making a complete scene. Luckily we had lots of extra shooters there to help out! I started counting contractions based on how many songs the DJ played before the next one came and by 8:45 I knew it was time to pack up! We took their end of the night shots and headed back to Boston- a 1 hour car ride that I will forever remember. We made it home with just enough time to back up our drives, unload all the equipment (well David unloaded all the equipment while I paced back and forth dreading the next contraction) and head to the hospital. At 5:38am the following morning, our little baby Lia was born. We will surely be posting some more pictures of our growing family, but for now we want to thank Ana, Jared & all of their friends and family for providing such an awesome wedding, and one we will never forget!
