The love story begins on the grounds of their alma mater, Connecticut College. It was fall of 2007 when Greg was awestruck in the midst of a dorm party as he noticed a gorgeous brunette in a stunning red shirt…

He remarked to his friend that he had to go over and introduce himself… the rest, as they say, is history. Haley has no recollection of this event. The two became fast friends; studying, partying, watching the Chili Peppers at Slain Castle on repeat and playing cribbage; until their Junior year when they realized that there was more than just a friendship between them.

They started dating after a Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico. They moved to Boston after graduation, Haley in Brookline and Greg in the Fat Shack in Southie with Tim and Dave, reliving their college years. Two years later Haley moved down to Providence, RI to start her Ph.D. at Brown.

Greg followed one year after that and they moved in together. In their downtime, they traveled the country, hiking, skiing, exploring and falling more in love despite their subtle differences, like Greg’s distaste for vegetables & cardiovascular exercises and Haley’s objection to naps & lazy Sundays.

The two were ready to take the next step, so after countless months of begging and flooding Greg’s inbox with pictures of puppies, Greg finally gave into Haley and the two brought home a golden retriever, Brady. B made their apartment a home and on her 2nd birthday during a walk at Chase Farm, Greg asked Haley to marry him!
