Logan and James, first of all… ADORABLE. The two met in college, in a romantic class called Molecular Modeling (chuckling)!
They knew of each other from groups of mutual friends but never formally met. They started out their relationship as friends and began to hang out more and more, then naturally, it developed into a relationship. Six years or so passed of being in a great relationship, not to mention the new addition of a handsome and happy labrador named Bode. James knew he was going to “plan” a proposal in Saratoga…
Well, as they had been planning to make their annual Labor Day trip to Saratoga, James got caught up at work and his original plan needed to change. So… as they were packing up the car, James hooked the ring onto Bode’s leash and asked Logan if she wanted to take the dog for a walk before they left. When Logan went to put the leash on Bode, she saw the ring and it was an absolute dream!! Next thing they knew, the two of them we were engaged!
They were able to spend the entire weekend with friends and family to celebrate!! That night, they went to dinner with their family at Saratoga National. They had no intention of choosing this place as their wedding venue, but the decision became pretty clear once they started seriously looking for an elegant and fun place to host their special day. They are perfect for each other because where one of them is weak, the other is strong. They complement one another and respect each other’s personal and professional goals and in turn, push one another to be better versions of themselves.
